Sanitary Sewer at John Cochran Hospital

Sanitary Sewer for the John Cochran Division, St. Louis VAMC, Missouri.

This project was a $2.25 million contract issued as a task order under a VA VISN 15 MATOC. It involved the renovation of the sanitary and storm sewer drain lines in the pipe basement under the first floor of a section of the main hospital. The site was very constructed and required significant effort to route the piping. The phasing was also very sensitive, requiring that existing liens be kept in service until the new sewer in service. The project also included lining of existing sewers using cured-in-place plastic pipe, replacing the lighting in the pipe basement and replacing pipe riser through the roof with related interior finishes and ICRA measures.
