This project, issued as a task order under a Kansas City District, US Army Corps of Engineers MATOC was a $6 million contract for two separate projects to provide facilities to the US Air Force. This project is for the simultaneous construction of an 8,000 sf pre-engineered, steel storage building expansion and a separate 10,000 sf single-story steel frame training building. It includes site and structural demolition, site utilities, site concrete, concrete foundations & pavement, precast architectural concrete, masonry, structural steel and metal fabrications, metal wall panels, carpentry, thermal insulation and moisture protection, standing seam metal roofing, flashing and sheet metal, hollow metal doors & frames, door hardware, access doors and frames, automatic door operators, aluminum framed storefronts and windows, metal stud framing and drywall, ceramic tile, resilient sheet and tile flooring, resinous flooring, carpeting, painting, specialties, furnishings, manufactured wood casework, countertops, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications, fire detection & alarm, physical access control, earthwork, exterior improvements and landscaping, asphalt paving and pavement markings.
