This was an $8 million contract for the construction of a 20,000 square foot, single story, steel framed medical building on the Grand Junction, Colorado VAMC campus. The building features a three-story, clearstory entrance/reception area, EIFS panel and manufactured stone exterior with glazing panels, and both membrane and standing seam roofing. More specifically, it includes: selective demolition & site utilities, Vibro stone columns, earthwork & grading, site concrete & asphalt paving, landscaping & irrigation, cast-in-place concrete, masonry, structural steel framing & metal fabrications, rough & finish carpentry, thermal insulation, water repellants, EIFS, weather barriers, TPO and standing seam metal roofing, flashing & sheet metal, fire stopping & joint sealants, hollow metal doors/frames, interior wood doors, access doors, coiling doors & grilles, aluminum framed entrances, curtain wall & windows, service teller windows, glass & glazing, door hardware, power assisted door operators, non-structural metal framing, gypsum board, acoustical tile ceilings, ceramic & resilient tile flooring, carpet, painting, sound absorbing wall units, signage, cubicle curtain tracks, operable partitions, wall & door protection, toilet, bath and laundry accessories, fire extinguisher cabinets, parking control equipment, dock levelers, window shades, manufactured wood casework, countertops, site furnishings, wet-pipe sprinkler systems, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications, electronic safety and security.
