This was a $9 million contract for the construction of a 14,000 square foot, two story, residential building with minor attachment and renovation area of an adjacent domiciliary building. It features residential rooms, common areas, an elevator and kitchen. The building is a steel framed building with a crawl space, asphalt shingle roof, brick façade and stone accents. More specifically, the project included selective structural and site demolition, asbestos abatement, cast-in-place concrete, masonry (CMU, & cast stone), structural steel, metal fabrications, metal stairs, carpentry, structural insulated panels, finish carpentry, bituminous damp proofing & waterproofing, sheet waterproofing, thermal & foam insulation, membrane air barrier, Asphalt shingle roofing, fireproofing & firestopping, joint sealants, expansion joint covers, hollow metal doors, interior wood doors, access doors, coiling doors, door hardware, aluminum façade systems, aluminum windows & glazing, pass windows, Louvers, non-structural metal framing, gypsum board and acoustical ceilings, tiling, resilient flooring, carpeting, fabric wall covering, painting, Chalkboards, wall protection, toilet, bath and laundry accessories, fire extinguishers, mfg. wood casework, countertops, hydraulic elevators, wet pipe sprinkler systems, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications cabling, TV equipment, PA system, Duress alarm, Physical Access Control & database, IDS, Video Surveillance, Electronic personal protection, fire alarm, earthwork, asphalt paving & markings, steam energy distribution and sanitary sewer utilities.
