US Air Force Academy Aero Lab HVAC

This $3 million project is for the replacement of the HVAC system in the Aero Lab building. The construction is being done while the building is in use, necessitating close coordination and accommodation of the Owner’s needs.

This project is an Air Force contract performed on a military base for the demolition and replacement of the HVAC system, to include ducting, in an active training facility, while occupied. It includes construction in a server room while still operational, ducting, metering, HVAC system replacement, controls, and appurtenant architectural and structural work. The site is very restricted, requiring close coordination of subcontractors, trades and the building occupants. A CCASS evaluation of “Outstanding” was received.
